'Year 4 Energy Day Incursion with Fizzics Educators' On Wednesday, our students investigated electrical energy production from renewable and non-renewable resources. The activities covered a range of topics including wind farms, hydrogen fuel cells, the Snowy Mountains Scheme, how to reduce energy consumption in the home and the difference between ozone depletion and the enhanced greenhouse effect. Congratulations to Daniel, Kai, Charlie, Harvey and Thomas who represented our diocesan at NSWPSSA this week at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre. "Year 1 Mad about Science Robotics and Coding Incursion" Our students enjoyed a fun filled day learning how to build and code a robot to move. It was an exciting and hands-on way to explore our Digital Systems Science & Technology topic and to see how we use robots in the real world.
