🌟 🌟 Year 3 Shining Stars 🌟 🌟 What a treat for our school community, to finish week 5 gathered for Year 3 assembly. And it had everything - prayer, reflections, dance, singing, monologues, art and more. Thank you to the year 3 students and teachers for sharing your learning - it was like a performance! 🤩

This week in Mathematics, Kindergarten students have been learning about subtraction by separating objects from a group. To make this fun and meaningful, the children took part in hands-on activities where they told their own subtraction stories. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explained their mathematical thinking.

Today our St Angela’s Athletics team braved the weather to compete at the Hills Zone Carnival at Blacktown International Sportspark. The children did not let the weather dampen their spirits, giving their all in their events on the track and field. Congratulations to all athletes today - you made us proud! 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ A big thank you to our staff and parents who supported the day in the wind and the rain! ☔️ 🙏 Special mention to our students who placed in their event and will now compete at the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Carnival next week. 👏

🗣️ Voice of Youth Cluster Finals 🗣️ Today Arianna and Kelci wowed all with their outstanding Voice of Youth speeches at the Cluster Final at St Michael’s. The girls spoke confidently, engaging the audience and showcasing impressive public speaking skills. Congratulations to Arianna who was announced Winner of the Cluster Final and will now progress through to the Eastern Division Semi Final in a few weeks time. 👏 🥇 👏

Noah (Yr 6) is up in Coffs Harbour competing in the NSWPSSA Boys Netball Championships. His team, All Schools Sydney Basin, have won 5/6 games on their first day and even enjoyed the spotlight on the news tonight. Wishing him the best of luck for tomorrow. 🏐
