Zone Swimming Carnival Success! What an incredible day for our St Angela’s swimmers at the Zone Swimming Carnival held at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre! Our students represented our school with pride, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. We are thrilled to share that many of our swimmers have progressed to next week’s Diocesan Carnival, a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work and commitment. Across all events, our students gave their very best. From strong dives to impressive finishes, every swimmer showed courage, effort, and true team spirit. It was wonderful to see students cheering one another on and celebrating every achievement. Congratulations to all our competitors, and thank you to our families for your support. Well done, St Angela’s! Let your light shine!

Our Davinci Decathlon Champions enjoyed a fabulous day of challenging thinking and problem solving, coming away with Ist Place in the Mathematics task and 3rd place in the Legacy task. Congratulations to our clever students who worked collaboratively to think outside the square and apply their knowledge across 10 different disciplines as they competed against the clock and with teams from other schools. Thank you to Santa Sophia College for hosting such a great event. St Angela’s will definitely be back next year. Thank you to Mrs Fisher, Mrs Mirabello and Mrs Orsini.

Best of luck to our Year 6 da Vinci team who are competing at the da Vinci Decathlon today at Santa Sophia. 🎨🔬👷♀️🧮 These students will be working together to solve complex problems in Engineering, Mathematics, Code Breaking, Art & Poetry, Science, English, Ideation, Creative Producers, Cartography, and Legacy.

We were so excited to welcome Joash Papalii and Kitione Kautoga from the @theparraeels to St Angela’s today as part of @nrl Schools Blitz. They talked to us about the important messages of wellbeing and gave tips to help with physical and mental health. The kids loved asking questions during Q&A, finding out what’s it’s really like to be an NRL player. Joash even challenged a few of the kids to a Scissors Paper Rock competition. Thanks for visiting boys - you made our day. 🔵 🟡

Year 4 shared a meal together for their Religion unit, 'Why are people Hungry?' They then discussed these questions: - What does it mean to you to 'break bread' with others? - How does sharing this meal feel like being part of a bigger community, like our parish or school Mass? We then used the See, Think, Wonder Routine to look at an image of a local Eucharistic celebration and The Last Supper.
