Our Kindergarten and new families to the school enjoyed a wonderful night of community and hospitality last Friday afternoon at our welcoming BBQ.
The storm came and stayed and so did the crowd, as we moved into the hall out of the driving rain and wind. A great time was had by all but, in particular, the children.
Thank you to all the new parents that attended. What a wonderful opportunity it was to come together as a Catholic learning community.

🗣️ Voice of Youth Cluster Finals 🗣️ Today Arianna and Kelci wowed all with their outstanding Voice of Youth speeches at the Cluster Final at St Michael’s. The girls spoke confidently, engaging the audience and showcasing impressive public speaking skills. Congratulations to Arianna who was announced Winner of the Cluster Final and will now progress through to the Eastern Division Semi Final in a few weeks time. 👏 🥇 👏

Noah (Yr 6) is up in Coffs Harbour competing in the NSWPSSA Boys Netball Championships. His team, All Schools Sydney Basin, have won 5/6 games on their first day and even enjoyed the spotlight on the news tonight. Wishing him the best of luck for tomorrow. 🏐

Today, our STEM teams competed in the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese STEMMAD Competition. They had an amazing day immersed in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our Year 3/4 team — Zac, Joshua, Jack, and Daniel — with their app design “Fight for a Better Fishing Future” won the Highly Commended – Communication Award. Our Year 6 team, “Scanner Saver” — Zac, Adam, James, and Eloise — were champions of the Catapult Challenge. A special congratulations to our Year 6 team, “Hydro Tree” — Jessica, Sienna, Noah, and Harry — who were announced Overall Winners and have been selected for Nationals. Hydro Tree are off to Adelaide in November to represent St Angela’s at the STEMMAD Nationals. 👏👏👏
