Celebrating with Caritas Australia Today, we held a special assembly to welcome our special guest, Dan Skehan, Programs Director from Caritas, and celebrate the success of our Walk for Water. He was delighted to let us know that our fundraising grand total of $50,950.97 had made a significant impact for so many families and communities in need. Specifically, we were able to provide water tanks for 12 villages in Samoa. Further, he let us know that this total is the highest amount any school in Australia has ever raised for Caritas. He was excited to hear about the learning students had been involved in in the weeks leading up to the event, and wants to share this with other schools. Once again, we thank our generous community for getting behind this great cause.

Today, some of our hardworking Mini Vinnies Return and Earn group members visited the Return and Earn machines to recycle the items and donate the proceeds to charity. We are proud of their efforts which are making a difference

Thank you to Year 4 for putting on a fabulous SHOWcase of learning. The children were so energised and excited to share everything they’ve learnt in such creative ways. Some highlights were the Alice in the Rabbit Hole debate, the whole grade dance, the rap performance and the astounding art on display. Congratulations Year 4! 👏
