Our history
St Angela’s Primary is a young and vibrant school anchored in the inspiring legacy of St Angela Merici (1474-1540).
Our school takes our name from St Angela Merici, a holy woman who devoted her life to prayer and service.
St Angela was born around 1474 in Northern Italy. St Angela experienced a vision in her early life that would lead to the founding of the Company of St Ursula, a religious congregation dedicated to education.
Our school continues to be inspired by St Angela’s wisdom, her understanding of the human person and her relationship with God.
In 2001, we opened our doors to 70 children in Kindergarten and Year 1, taught by seven staff members.
Our school motto, 'Let your Light shine', inspires the whole community to live our unique life journey with joy and self-belief.
Over the years, our school has grown to enrol over 600 students across the Hills District, teaching students from K–6. We have also expanded to include an Out of Hours School Care facility within the school grounds.
In response to continued growth and strong community support, we are excited to expand to a four stream Kindergarten from 2026. We look forward to providing outstanding Catholic education for many years to come!
