700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australia’s Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.

A message from Caritas Australia Dear St Angela's Students, Staff, Families & Friends, EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT – Dollar Match Day is back tomorrow! We were blown away by your incredible response to our first Dollar Match Day at the beginning of March - so tomorrow, we're bringing it back one last time! That’s right – every donation you raise online for Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion from 10.00am AEDT tomorrow, 25 March, will be DOUBLED, up to a cap of $67,500. That means... A $50 donation will become $100 A $100 donation will become $200 A $200 donation will become $400 Our second and final Dollar Match Day will run until our $67,500 matched funding cap is reached – so make sure you act fast as once the funds are gone, they’re gone! *Donations will be matched up to $1,000 per individual donation – individual donations over $1,000 will not be matched. ** Only individual donations made directly to your online fundraising page are eligible to be matched. Banking of funds already collected offline – for example, proceeds from a bake sale or other cash collections – are excluded from Dollar Match Day, even if those funds are deposited on the day.
