Year 2 have been experimenting with plants in class recently by looking at how missing nutrients, water, warmth and sunlight change how they grow.
The students have planted new seeds to see the difference in how they will grow if something important is missing. They also looked at how water travels through roots and stems of various plants.
It is also exciting to see some of our broad bean plants growing!

Celebrating with Caritas Australia Today, we held a special assembly to welcome our special guest, Dan Skehan, Programs Director from Caritas, and celebrate the success of our Walk for Water. He was delighted to let us know that our fundraising grand total of $50,950.97 had made a significant impact for so many families and communities in need. Specifically, we were able to provide water tanks for 12 villages in Samoa. Further, he let us know that this total is the highest amount any school in Australia has ever raised for Caritas. He was excited to hear about the learning students had been involved in in the weeks leading up to the event, and wants to share this with other schools. Once again, we thank our generous community for getting behind this great cause.04 Jul 2025

Thank you to all students who have been placing their recyclables into the new yellow bins. Today, some of our hardworking Mini Vinnies Return and Earn group members visited the Return and Earn machines to recycle the items and donate the proceeds to charity. We are proud of their efforts which are making a difference
